Job Title: Pipe Fitter

Key Responsibilities

As a skilled professional, you will be responsible for fabricating, installing, maintaining and repairing piping systems.

This includes activities such as cutting, threading, beveling of pipes and fittings, assembling and installing various piping components like valves, supports, inline instruments and special piping items.

You will work on projects that require high levels of technical expertise, precision and dedication to quality workmanship.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical expertise in fabrication, installation, maintenance and repair of piping systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow quality control systems and techniques
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to interpret engineering and detailed fabrication drawings, specifications and standards
  • Measuring and marking out accurately
  • Commitment to workplace safety and the safety of colleagues
  • Utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
  • Maintaining and caring for equipment, tools and machinery
  • Collaborating with other team members, including engineers, QA/QC inspectors and construction management team
  • Keeping detailed records of work performed
  • Staying updated on industry trends, new technologies and best practices
