The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Swimming Teacher to join our team at Belgravia Leisure. As a Swimming Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to students of all ages and abilities.

You will have a passion for swimming and a commitment to providing a safe and supportive learning environment. You should be energetic, dynamic, and fun, with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work with children.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of OHS and public safety applications within a swimming facility. You will also have the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

We are looking for someone who is able to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. You will need to be empathetic to the needs of the classes and have a strong commitment to customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality swimming lessons to students of all ages and abilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve program goals
Requirements
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) and Current CPR Certificate
  • Working With Children Check (or equivalent) and National Police Check
  • Current Swimming and Water Safety Teacher Certificate
  • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics (desirable)
  • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Aquatics Access and Inclusion (desirable)
