Job Title: Stores Attendant

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as a Stores Attendant. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy and dynamic environment, supporting student learning outcomes.

About the Role:

The Stores Attendant will be responsible for providing high standards of customer service to internal and external clients in relation to stores supply and administration activities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Allocating models to classrooms and ensuring efficient preparation.
  • Assisting with administration, handling enquiries via phone and in person, and maintaining a register of hairdressing appointments.
  • Implementing processes and performing activities to ensure safe, sustainable, and economic use of equipment and materials.
  • Performing general cleaning, maintenance, stocktaking, and security monitoring of equipment and bulk materials in store.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate III in a relevant discipline such as Hairdressing or Beauty Therapy.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of industry and professional hair and beauty products.
  • Proven experience in stock control, ordering, maintenance, and related cleaning activities.
  • Effective customer service skills, experience handling cash register transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
