Executive Leadership Role

The Agency Executive Director is a key position within the organisation, providing strategic direction and oversight across corporate functions.

About the Role

This role reports to the Inspector-General of Aged Care and contributes to the overall leadership and direction of the agency. The successful candidate will provide trusted support to the Inspector-General and operate as a key member of the executive leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Collaboratively develop and implement the agency's strategic framework, delivering on whole-of-agency priorities.
  • Governance and Operations: Manage the efficient and effective operations of the OIGAC, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and managing operational risk.
  • Workforce Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the performance of a highly capable and collaborative workforce, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Cultural Safety: Set the standard for diversity and inclusion, contributing to a culturally and psychologically safe workplace.
