About the Role
Mater Misericordiae Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Midwife to join our team in a full-time caseload position. As a Clinical Midwife, you will work in collaboration with private obstetricians to provide exceptional midwifery care to women and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an agreed number of women throughout their pregnancy journey, providing antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care in hospital and at home on an on-call basis.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to women and their families.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with private obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of midwifery care policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and education to stay up-to-date with best practices and research in midwifery care.
Requirements
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with Midwifery endorsement.
- Experience in continuity of care models and private midwifery care.
- Significant postgraduate experience in a midwifery environment.
- Evidence of continuing educational and professional development.
- Demonstrated ability to role model the Mater Misericordiae Ltd values.
