About the Role:

The successful applicant will work within the CSPD Student Services and Post School Options team, supporting the System Strategic Intent of improving learning outcomes for all students and promoting a professional and rewarding working life for staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with their transition to post school providers by implementing skill training and vocational skills;
  • Provide direct supervision, guidance and modelling of tasks to support students;
  • Create resources to support specific skill training and/or work experience;
  • Utilise assistive technology effectively to support staff and student learning;
  • Undertake data and evidence collection and analysis;
  • Support to engage suitable employers/community based organisations;
  • Complete administrative tasks as required;
  • Participate in training and professional learning as required;
  • Provide physical assistance where needed and/or personal care to students.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III or IV in Education Support and experience in schools;
  • Valid Working with Children Check;
  • Compliance with CSPD's Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct.
