Veterinary Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Veterinary Support Assistant to join our team at Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH). As a key member of our hospital team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of animal care and hospital facilities are maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Cage and Hospital Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.
- Preparation and Setup: Prepare cages for incoming patients, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Animal Care and Feeding: Feed and provide water to our patients, ensuring their nutritional and hydration needs are met.
- Inventory Management: Restock IV fluids and disposables, and manage daily laundry to maintain a smooth operation.
- Transportation: Transport non-critical patients, requiring a valid unrestricted Class C driver's license.
- Communication and Teamwork: Develop strong communication skills to work effectively with our veterinary and nursing teams, as well as ability to work independently and as part of a team.
