Pharmacy Technician Role
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a permanent part-time capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing ward imprest stock and pharmacy inventory, ensuring the supply of medications to hospital wards and clinical areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining imprest stock levels and liaising with nursing staff
- Overseeing inventory accuracy and conducting six-monthly imprest reviews
- Replenishing ward imprest stock levels and maintaining imprest areas
- Expiry date checking and ensuring medication safety and compliance
- Liaising with nurses and clinical staff to assess and adjust imprest stock levels
- Performing stocktakes of imprest locations and maintaining accurate inventory records
Requirements:
- Dispensing experience in an Australian based hospital or community pharmacy
- Australian working rights
- Ability to commit to the required shifts for the long-term
