Industrial Project Director

We are collaborating with a leading processing organization to source an experienced Project Manager. This position offers the opportunity to lead technically complex brownfield projects that are vital for maintaining production reliability and plant optimization.

• Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of brownfield sustaining projects in accordance with internal project governance.
• Apply Agile/Scrum project methodology including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Manage contractor interfaces and ensure alignment with project scope and standards.
• Oversee procurement of materials and services, and track cost and schedule performance.
• Ensure completed works are handed over smoothly to operational teams.
• Foster a high-performing, safety-focused project environment that aligns with company policies and procedures.

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or similar discipline).
• Minimum 5 years' experience in project management or engineering in the mining, industrial, or processing sectors.
• Proven success delivering brownfield projects across the full lifecycle (study to commissioning and handover).
• Familiarity with Australian engineering standards and construction practices.
• Experience working with Agile project methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strategic thinking and strong prioritization skills.
• Calm and composed under pressure with a drive for results.
• Collaborative, proactive, and able to lead cross-functional teams.
