Customer Service Representative Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. This role will provide exceptional service to our customers, ensuring they have an enjoyable experience at our travel plazas.

  • Providing friendly and helpful interactions with customers, consistently delivering positive experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating the point-of-sale system, accurately processing payments, and adhering to customer service and cash handling policies.
  • Maintaining proper food handling procedures, including wrapping, labelling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperature of products.
  • Preparing and serving quality food, as well as completing various kitchen-related tasks, such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
  • Stocking, cleaning, and sanitizing workstations and equipment, while maintaining a solid knowledge of products and services available in the plaza.
  • Executing tasks assigned by management, while adhering to brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
  • Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods, frequently bend, twist, lift, and carry at least 40 pounds.
  • Requires ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
