Senior Project Lead

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Project Lead to join our team. As a key member of our project management group, you will be responsible for defining and monitoring the project purpose, objectives, scope as well as the principles and Critical Success Factors.

The ideal candidate will exercise all the attributes expected of a Senior Project Lead including scope management, plan management, budgetary control, change control, risk and issue management. You will use industry experience to oversee and drive the design and implementation of the SRE, Support & Operate models from inception.

You will provide structure and guidance to the overall project and be the calm voice of reason within the project to ensure the focus is on the key priorities.

You will build collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders across business, operational and delivery areas as a 'trusted advisor', in order to align on recommendations, guide them towards feasible solutions, resolve issues and agree delivery strategy without disrupting delivery initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting risk evaluation, concept shaping and evaluation in the very early stages of a project, using delivery expertise and knowledge.
  • Leading the initiation stage to ensure a recommendation is made in as expedient a manner as possible.
  • Communicating technical messages/outputs to non-technical audiences.

In return, you will bring:

  • Specialist knowledge delivering programmes and projects centred around SRE, Support & Operate models.
  • A pragmatic, results and delivery-oriented mindset, with a track record of having facilitated large programmes for very large cross-enterprise initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • The ability to influence others without direct authority.
  • Strong facilitation and relationship-building skills.

About This Role:

As a Senior Project Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career development and growth.
