Job OverviewWe are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our cleaning and trolley collection team as a Store Cleaner and Trolley Team Assistant in our Sylvania store. About the Role- As a Store Cleaner and Trolley Team Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our store, including sweeping the shop floor, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolleys bays, and team room, and emptying bins.
- You will also be involved in collecting trolleys on foot from the car park and surrounding areas, working across departments to deliver specific cleaning needs, and assisting customers in store by answering questions or providing directions.
- Complete tasks allocated to you in the daily planner, including sweeping the shop floor, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolleys bays, and team room, and emptying bins.
- Collecting trolleys on foot from the car park and surrounding areas.
- Work across departments to deliver specific cleaning needs.
- Help our customers in store by answering questions or providing directions.
- Physical fitness is essential for this role, as it involves physically demanding tasks. The ability to comfortably handle the physical requirements of the role is crucial to ensure success and maintain a safe working environment.
- Able to stand for long periods and lift loads between 5-10kgs.
- Flexibility to work in different environments such as the shop floor, fridges, freezers, and carparks.
- Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 5pm.
- A good eye for cleanliness and small details.
