About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Front End Engineer to join our team at our Sydney CBD HQ or remotely from anywhere in Australia. This is a fast-paced role where you will have the freedom to choose how best to solve problems and implement your ideas.

  • Owning and driving the technical implementation of sophisticated user interfaces in Angular and Ionic.
  • Collaborating with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to refine user stories and translate them into technical execution.
  • Setting the standard for high-quality, maintainable, testable front-end code and performance.

In this role, you will play a key part in shaping our front-end architecture and shared component systems. You will also have autonomy to influence both technical direction and broader product outcomes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in Angular - building scalable front-end applications with Angular (ideally Angular 14+), or expertise in front-end engineering that can quickly master the framework.
  • Obsession over performance and UX - understanding the nuances of performance, accessibility, and responsive design.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable code and make pragmatic decisions that balance speed, quality, and long-term growth.
  • Familiarity with building responsive, performant apps that run seamlessly across web and/or hybrid platforms.
