Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mold Operator - Plastics Manufacturing to join our team at Pact Group. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with experience working in 24/5 and later 24/7 operations, particularly within extrusion, blow/injection moulding or thermoforming environments.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for operating equipment to ensure quality products are produced in a timely manner and in a cost-effective way. Your mechanical aptitude and ability to adjust, calibrate, and test equipment will be essential skills for success. Additionally, you will work effectively to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to WHSE procedures and directions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Adjust, calibrate, and test equipment to meet production requirements
  • Inspect and test products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to WHSE procedures
  • Collaborate with supervisors and technicians to resolve any issues or concerns

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in plastics/extrusion industry
  • Experience working in 24/5 and later 24/7 operations
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to adjust, calibrate, and test equipment
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior communication skills and teamwork abilities
