About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Urban Planning Specialist to join our team for a 3-month temporary cover, on a part-time, 4 days per week basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing demographic data and enrolment projections for schools in Victoria, coordinating planning approvals with local councils and authorities, and advising on potential new sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare demographic data and enrolment projections for schools in Victoria.
  • Coordinate planning approvals with local councils and authorities for school projects.
  • Advise on potential new sites.
  • Guide schools and parishes on new sites and capital development.
  • Assist in preparing demographic data for educational briefs.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Geography, Urban Planning, or Geospatial Science.
  • Experience in demographic studies and school provision planning.
  • Proficient in GIS systems, QGIS, MapInfo, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong report writing and strategic planning skills.
  • Victorian driver's licence required.
