Job Title: Radiography Support Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Radiography Support Specialist to assist qualified radiographers in providing optimal patient care and imaging services.
About the Role:
Your key responsibilities will involve assisting radiographers in performing radiographic examinations, ensuring patient comfort, welfare, and safety in accordance with established radiographic practices and codes of conduct.
You will work closely with our radiography team to support their duties across various departments, including inpatients, outpatients, theatre, emergency & trauma.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist qualified radiographers in performing radiographic examinations
- Ensure patient comfort, welfare, and safety during examinations
- Support radiographers in their duties across various departments
Qualifications and Experience:
- Working towards a Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiations or equivalent
- Working towards registration with AHPRA as a Medical Imaging Technologist
- Good communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset
