Job Title

You will work collaboratively with young people to foster their recovery, focusing on client-centered, community-oriented, and sensitive support.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing support that promotes independence and healthy relationships.
  • Assisting young people in developing daily living skills through guidance and supervision.
  • Mentoring and acting as role models to promote positive social skills and healthy relationships.
  • Encouraging and educating young people on healthy living habits to support emotional well-being.

Requirements:

- Minimum of Cert IV in Mental Health or related field.

- Experience working with young people experiencing mental health issues.

- Demonstrated capacity to relate to young people, families/carers, and stakeholders with dignity and respect.

- Ability to assess risk and manage crisis situations effectively.

- Effective listening and communication skills.

- Commitment to duty of care, privacy, and confidentiality principles.

- Availability for overnight shifts and rotating 24/7 roster.
