Job Opportunity: Painter

BGIS seeks an experienced painter to deliver high-quality painting services across a critical healthcare facility.

Based in Southport, you will be responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior of the site safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform painting, minor plastering, and surface preparation for both interior and exterior areas.
  • Use water blasting, mould treatment, and sanding/stripping surfaces.
  • Receive, complete, and document work using the work management system.
  • Provide excellent communication and service to clients and stakeholders.
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures and site-specific regulations.
Requirements:
  • A relevant painting qualification and industry experience (Cert III Painting & Decorating minimum).
  • Strong understanding of preparation techniques, paint types, and application methods.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and safety awareness.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
  • Physical fitness with full Australian working rights.
