Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at KU Union Children's Centre.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity to work with a passionate and dedicated team, providing high-quality education and care to children.

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging and interactive learning experiences that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans that meet the needs of children
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices
Requirements
  • Australian working rights
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • An ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree
  • Completed training in Child Protection legislation
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • NESA Teacher Accreditation
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
