Job Summary
This full-time position is for a junior/intermediate auditor within our assurance division. As an auditor, you will be responsible for conducting audits, performing financial analysis, ensuring regulatory compliance, and preparing audit reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with partners across a diverse client base to ensure seamless audit execution.
- Manage the full cycle of audit planning, execution, and assignments, including supervising and guiding junior staff.
- Conduct risk assessments, testing, reporting, and control evaluations, as well as develop test plans and reports.
- Oversee audit fieldwork to ensure timely completion and accuracy.
- Prepare audit work papers and ensure audits are completed within time and budget constraints.
- Mentor junior team members and assist with special assignments and reports in collaboration with directors and partners.
About You
We're looking for a dynamic professional with a minimum of 2 years of audit experience in an accounting firm. You should hold an accounting degree and be planning to commence or currently enrolled in the CA program. Excellent communication skills are essential for building lasting client relationships and working autonomously.
Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with CaseWare, Accurri, or similar audit software are must-haves. A solid understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and Australian Standards of Auditing is also required.
