Instrumental Music Tutor Opportunity

This position involves providing high-quality instrumental tuition, encompassing guitar and percussion lessons. The successful candidate will work on a contractor basis.

About the Position

The role entails approximately 1.5 days of lessons per week, which may be divided between guitar and percussion if required. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to conduct an ensemble and participate in school concerts and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver guitar and percussion instruction
  • Conduct Claver Percussion Ensemble or a Guitar ensemble as agreed upon
  • Attend selected concerts and school events
  • Collaborate closely with music teachers and other team members
Essential Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications and prior experience tutoring and/or teaching music
  • Ensemble conducting expertise
  • Strong instrumental knowledge in guitar and/or percussion
  • Experience teaching and conducting ensembles
  • A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively within a team
  • Commitment to supporting student growth through music education
