Role Description/Criteria

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic classroom teacher to join our Holy Family School community. Our school promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children, and we strive to live out Catholic Gospel values and promote a diverse and challenging curriculum.

This role requires a teacher who is able to demonstrate:

  • an understanding of the MACS Vision for Instruction
  • evidence informed high-impact teaching practices
  • an ability to develop and maintain respectful and caring relationships with students, families and colleagues
  • a personalised/differentiated learning philosophy and demonstrated practice
  • knowledge of inquiry based learning
  • a working knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum
  • the use of data and assessment gathering that informs classroom programming
  • a strong commitment to the philosophy of Catholic education and to the Vision of Holy Family Catholic Primary School
  • an ability to plan, implement and assess individual learning programs that cater for individual difference and need (enabling and extending)
  • a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
  • a commitment to the Ministerial Order No. 1359 and the Victorian Child Safe Standards.

Special Requirements

The successful applicant should have:

VIT Registration (or provisional VIT registration)

Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school (or a willingness of working towards this)
