Job Summary

As a Commercial Finance Expert, you will play a critical role in providing strategic insights to sector leaders and supporting commercial finance analysis across the Chartwells/Education sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strong analytical support to sector leaders, including commercial finance analysis and commercial negotiations.
  • Develop commercial scenarios that are relevant to sector strategies and provide advice to National Operation Managers, General Managers, and Commercial Business Partners on preferred outcomes from CGA and client perspectives.
  • Firmly understand the intricacies of key contracts, propose, and work through commercial improvements.
  • Quantify action plans and track progress to ensure commercial financial terms are in line with bid proposals and company policies and procedures.
  • Achieve strategic plans and objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-4 years of previous experience in commercial finance.
  • Experience in financial modeling and commercial review.
  • Degree qualified and/or studying towards CA/CPA.
  • Previous analytical and/or accounting experience with a private/public company.
  • Sound technical and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel & Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Positive 'can-do' attitude, who can work autonomously in a team environment.
  • Vibrant personality who will be able to work easily with their peers.
