After Hours Hospital Coordinator Role

The After Hours Hospital Coordinator is responsible for ensuring safe, quality care at the hospital.

This key leadership position requires a highly motivated Registered Nurse who is ready to undertake a pivotal role in the healthcare team.

  • Supervise the delivery of safe, quality patient care that meets current best practice standards.
  • Support and liaise with ward and department Nurse Unit Managers to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Coordinate patient admissions and ensure all areas are staffed appropriately and cost efficiently.
  • Oversee the safety of patients and hospital staff by identifying and mitigating potential risks.

Darwin Private Hospital provides a range of services, including surgery, orthopaedics, gynaecology, ophthalmology, and cardiology.

The ideal candidate will have recent management experience at ANUM level or higher, a tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline or management, and demonstrated experience with staff coordination and allocation.
