We're seeking a highly skilled Safety Expert for Infrastructure Projects to join our team. With over 50 major infrastructure projects currently underway, you'll have access to diverse career opportunities and professional growth.

The Project

The Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture is a 50/50 joint venture between CPB Contractors and Downer, aiming to upgrade and replace existing infrastructure and facilities to support Defence capability for the next 30 years.

Your Role

As a Safety Expert for Infrastructure Projects, you will report directly to the Safety Manager and support the project in achieving optimal safety outcomes. You will leverage your expertise and experience to deliver training, conduct audits, and develop strategies to ensure best-practice safety performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the project team in implementing effective health and safety strategies.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for staff and subcontractors on high-risk activities.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote a culture of safety excellence.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • High-level skills in conducting audits and interpreting results.
  • Relevant WHS qualifications.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
