Ground Operations Trainer

As a Ground Operations Trainer, you will be responsible for training and developing ramp staff across NSW and the ACT. This role leads and establishes priorities for the team to ensure ground employees meet or exceed objectives for training, safety and compliance, on-time performance and customer satisfaction.

  • Facilitate and deliver ground operations training in all facets of ramp duties and aircraft turnaround for Saab 340 and B737 aircraft.
  • Ensure staff are trained to the highest level in accordance with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Training Records.
  • Assist in the development of training programs.
  • Complete paperwork and administrative requirements of the Ground Training Department in a timely manner.
  • Travel around the Rex network for training purposes if required.

Key Selection Criteria

">
  • Experienced in ramp operations including Narrow/Wide Body aircraft.
  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) to competently facilitate classroom and on-the-job training & assessment activities.
  • Positive and professional attitude, well-organized.
  • Proven ability to manage a high workload under pressure with changing priorities.
  • Safety and customer-focused and driven.
  • Knowledge of CASA and Local Airport Authorities/Regulations.
  • Highly motivated and interested in being part of a small and talented team.
  • Willing and able to travel when required.
