About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual to join our landscape maintenance team. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in garden maintenance, learn new skills, and be part of a professional team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high-quality landscapes through detailed garden maintenance tasks such as hedging, topiary trimming, seasonal pruning of perennials, and turf maintenance.
  • Assist with soft landscaping works including planting, mulching, and turf renovations.
  • Operate power equipment such as hedge trimmers, whipper snippers, brush cutters, and mowers.
  • Provide basic plant, weed, pest, and disease identification knowledge.
  • Adhere to safe work procedures and ensure implementation.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in the landscape industry and general garden maintenance.
  • Passion for nurturing new landscapes to reach their full potential.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Great work ethic and self-motivation.
  • Basic knowledge of safe work procedures.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors.
  • Well-presented and enthusiastic approach to duties.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Tertiary education in horticulture.
  • Current first aid certification and CI White Card.
