Education-Focused Academic Position in Critical Care

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Education-Focused Critical Care. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality educational programs across our clinical campuses.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, coordinating, and curriculum development across our St George and Sutherland Clinical Campuses and School of Clinical Medicine. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a related discipline, or equivalent experience, and be registered as a medical practitioner in NSW. They will also possess proven commitment to keeping up-to-date with discipline knowledge and developments, as well as experience in teaching and learning design using various pedagogical approaches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and coordinating educational programs across multiple campuses
  • Developing and implementing curriculum to meet educational goals
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve departmental and faculty missions
  • Conducting research and contributing to the advancement of education-focused critical care
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • PhD in a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Registered as a medical practitioner in NSW
  • Proven commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Experience in teaching and learning design using various pedagogical approaches
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
