The Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Educator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for facilitating a nurturing environment that encourages children to grow and develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Foster a sense of community among children, families and staff
- Develop and implement educational programs that promote cognitive, social and emotional growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality curriculum activities
- Observe and document the progress of each child, in line with national regulations and laws
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding routines, progress and challenges
- Contribute to the completion of documentation of children's skills and interests
- Maintain a well-organized and safe physical environment
- Engage in professional communication with families and caregivers

Requirements

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Availability Monday to Friday:
- Lead and develop the team to deliver a high-quality cycle of planning, curriculum and outcomes for each child in your room
- Current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain one)
- Current Working with Children Check
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to children
- Positive interaction with Children and Families in a sensitive and respectful manner.
