Sikorsky Australia is a leading provider of advanced technology solutions for the defence industry. We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Administrator to join our team in Williamtown, NSW.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad spectrum of tasks falling under the following categories:
- Configuration Management: Ensure the system's business as usual (BAU) operations are maintained, including configuration management, access control, security, troubleshooting, and user education.
- User Maintenance and Hardware Support: Provide technical support for users and hardware, including data management and system technical support/configuration.
- Backup and Disaster Recovery: Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
About You
- You will have well-developed communication skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- You will hold a tertiary qualification in a related discipline (typically Information Technology) and/or equivalent experience/combined education in Systems, Network or Database administration.
- You will be able to travel interstate on occasion.
- You will be a team player, passionate about IT and willing to learn new and exciting technology.
Desirable Skills
- Demonstrated experience in a project environment within Defence.
- Experience in Oracle and/or CompTIA Security+ and/or Network+.
- Experience in ODIN and/or ALIS.
