Salary & Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a competitive remuneration package of $75,000 plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week, reflecting the importance of this role within our organization. Key Responsibilities
Your primary duties as a Long-Haul Freight Driver will include:
  • Routine movements between depots.
  • Delivery in Regional and Metro area.
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Plan Routes and meet delivery schedules.
  • Operate Semi trailers, Forklift, loading and unloading line haul trailers.
  • Document and log work/rest periods and kilometre spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts.
  • Manoeuvre trucks into loading or unloading positions.
  • Collect and verify delivery instructions.
To excel in this position, you will require strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritise tasks effectively.

Qualifications & Requirements
The successful candidate will hold a Certificate or above qualification in a relevant field, with minimum 2 years' relevant experience. A current HC/MC driver's licence is essential, as well as the ability to display a commitment to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS). You must also be able to pass Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Screen, police screen & Working with children screen
