Job Title: Accounts Payable Team Lead

  • The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable team. This includes processing and managing payment runs for the Corporate Finance department, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers and creditors.

  • As an experienced Accounts Payable professional, you will be responsible for setting up new suppliers in the ERP system, completing onboarding and phone verification where required, and maintaining daily bank reconciliations for accounts payable transactions.

  • Additionally, you will lead the Accounts Payable team, train and develop direct reports, and contribute to system/process improvement initiatives within Finance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">

  • Proven experience in a similar Accounts Payable position with high attention to detail.

  • Experience managing a team and having direct reports is essential.

  • Tertiary education in Accounting or Finance.

  • Experience using SunSystem; Banking File upload; Concur is highly desirable.

  • Advanced computer software skills, particularly in Excel.

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships.
