About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Economics Advisory team as a Senior Consultant. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality economic advisory services, managing and contributing to complex projects, and developing strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead small to medium-sized economic advisory projects from inception to completion, ensuring outcomes are on time, on budget, and to a high standard.
  • Support the technical lead on complex projects and proposals, contributing to project planning, analysis, and client engagement.
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports and deliverables across all stages of a project lifecycle
  • Ensure consistency in accuracy and timely output of work.
  • Conduct economic and financial analysis, modelling, and strategy development.
  • Deliver advisory services, including cost-benefit analysis, regulatory economic advice, and policy evaluation.
  • Develop meaningful and innovative ideas, solutions, and strategies for our clients.
  • Support project teams to deliver exceptional results across multiple sectors and industries.
  • Report any project issues to your respective Team Leader, Project Director and Directors of the business so that client relations can be addressed early.
  • Continually strive to improve technical knowledge and encourage team technical discussions.
  • Provide input into business development strategies and initiatives to further grow the business.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics or a related field.
  • 5 –8 years of relevant experience in economic advisory, preferably within a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or leading multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines.
  • Strong technical foundation in economic analysis, cost-benefit analysis, regulatory advice, and policy evaluation.
  • Proven track record of producing high-quality, client-facing deliverables.
