Senior Environmental Approvals Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Approvals Specialist to join our team in Brisbane.
This is an excellent opportunity for professional consultants looking to advance their career with a global leader in the energy and resources sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and/or support environmental approvals for renewable energy and infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with national and global practitioners to execute projects.
- Develop technical skills, project experience, and consulting and decision-making abilities.
- Contribute to proposal development, including technical scopes and cost estimates.
- Direct and monitor project management activities, including task delegation and direction, subcontractor management, and quality review of deliverables.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental planning or science, or related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure and/or energy industry, including environmental approvals/permitting and/or management.
- Understanding of environmental/planning approvals process applicable to QLD projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management and experience working as part of an integrated team.
- Critical thinking skills – i.e. able to synthesize large amounts of data into meaningful outcomes.
- Excellent report writing, data collation, and management/presentation skills.
