Our organization is seeking a seasoned Financial Analyst to oversee cost management for a large-scale infrastructure project. This role demands strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and collaboration with operational teams to ensure effective fiscal management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial plans in coordination with project managers and finance specialists, closely monitoring budget variances and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Evaluate change requests and update financial plans accordingly, working closely with project managers.
- Track and analyze project expenses, including expenditures, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring alignment with project objectives and financial targets.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, highlighting potential risks and opportunities.
- Review contracts and agreements to ensure adherence to financial terms and conditions.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with project teams.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to project cost management.
- Identify opportunities to enhance financial control processes and tools.
- Liaise with project stakeholders to provide regular updates on project financial performance and address any cost-related queries or concerns.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
- Proven experience in financial analysis or management, preferably within the construction, engineering, or infrastructure sector.
- Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies.
