
Transport Healthcare Professional

This is a great opportunity to join our team and make a positive impact on the experience of patients and visitors at Fiona Stanley Hospital. As a Patient Transport Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the safe and compassionate transfer of eligible patients and carers.
Responsibilities:- Delivering timely and compassionate transport services for patients and carers
- Checking and maintaining vehicle and equipment readiness
- Assisting patients with safe boarding and disembarking
- Recording and communicating detailed handover information
- Following infection control and safety protocols
- Driving vehicles safely while maintaining patient comfort
- Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Transport/Certificate IV in Health care or equivalent
- Current WA C Class Driver's Licence
- PTD – Passenger Transport Driver Authorisation (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid CPR certification/ First aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- WWC Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Up-to-date COVID-19 and other relevant vaccinations (MMR, Pertussis, Varicella)
- Experience in a similar role or strong transferable skills from a customer service or care setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a respectful and inclusive approach
