Urban Planning Specialist
This role is a key part of the urban planning team, providing strategic and creative advice on urban development projects.
The successful candidate will support projects such as precinct structure plans, urban design frameworks and structure plans.
The position involves:
- Researching and developing strategies to improve urban outcomes in growth areas and infill locations.
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
To be successful, you will have a tertiary qualification in urban design, architecture or landscape architecture, and at least two years' professional experience as an urban designer.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of urban design principles and knowledge of the Victorian planning system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing urban design strategies.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in urban design, architecture or landscape architecture.
- At least two years' professional experience as an urban designer.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of the Victorian planning system.
- Solid understanding of urban design principles.
