Job Title: Venue and Functions Support Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Venue and Functions Support Assistant to provide exceptional support to our events team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the setup and operation of functions and events, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to attendees and clients, responding promptly to their queries and concerns.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth event execution, communicating effectively and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 12 months of experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in event management and customer service.
  • First Aid certificate and ability to work safely.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification and knowledge of responsible service practices.
  • Proven working experience in cash handling, cleaning, room setup, stage setup, and customer service, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Fire Warden and Emergency Response training, enhancing your safety skills and awareness.
Working Conditions:

This is a casual position requiring flexible hours, including weekends. You will be required to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is $35.90 per hour, plus 25% casual loading. Penalty rates apply for weekend shifts. Employee benefits include leave entitlements, superannuation contribution, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.
