Heavy Mechanical Fitter

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to undertake scheduled preventative maintenance checks on plant equipment and diagnose, maintain and repair a wide range of mobile plant, excavators, loaders and mobile screens.
- Document work completed and maintain accurate records
- Work autonomously to achieve maximum machine uptime
- Responding to breakdowns and complete prestart faults repairs
- Diagnosing faults and performing maintenance on machinery
- Basic welding and grinding
- Basic electrical and A/C knowledge
- Heavy Mechanical trade qualification: Plant or Machinery
- Experience in a heavy industrial environment is highly desirable
- Flexibility to work weekends, overtime and different shifts where required
- Own tools and current drivers licence
- Ability to identify and resolve mechanical problems
- A strong safety focused work ethic
