Job Description

As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for providing efficient and effective installation and maintenance of electrical fixtures, fittings, service cabling and associated elements.

The successful candidate will carry out electrical works of maintenance, improvement or construction nature within Council Buildings. They will also assist in the completion of multi-trade projects, undertake duties associated with the repair and maintenance of electrical installations and systems, and perform tasks related to electrical tagging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake duties associated with the repair and maintenance of electrical installations and systems.
  • Perform tasks related to electrical tagging.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will hold a recognised Electrical Trade Certificate, a current qualified Electricians Licence, a current WHS General Induction for Construction Training Certificate, and a minimum of three years post trade experience. They will also possess sound knowledge of WHS and Risk Management requirements, as well as a Class C Drivers Licence.
