We are seeking a highly skilled Road Safety Program Officer to join our team at the Transport Accident Commission Victoria. As a key member of our Infrastructure Programs branch, you will play a critical role in coordinating Victoria's major road safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Road Safety Program Manager in delivering the Safe Local Roads and Streets Program, applying specific road safety knowledge to ensure projects meet Safe System requirements.
- Assess funding submissions, manage consultants, monitor projects, assist with program governance, and administer the project application platform.
- Foster and maintain constructive relationships with key stakeholders, including the TAC, Department of Transport and Planning, and local government.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance program delivery, performance, and governance.
- Proactively manage and report on risks and issues across projects, while working to advance Safe System principles and capability within local government.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in road safety and program management. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
