As a Social Visitor, you can make a meaningful difference in someone's life, one visit at a time. If you're handy with wood or other crafty projects, we have a client who misses working with tools and is looking for a mate to visit him at home. He would enjoy a volunteer to visit him, talk about tinkering, watch a DIY program, or perhaps build some simple wood craft projects together (hand built-not using tools).

About the Role

This rewarding role involves regular visits from volunteers, which can help to improve quality of life and reduce feelings of isolation. Your visits will bring great joy to the client you are matched with.

Requirements
  • You must be 18 years or older
  • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by the organization
  • Working with Vulnerable people check

Time Commitment

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one-hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday. Visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
