About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Care Worker to join our team in the Maroochydore area. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing home help services to our aged care clients, ensuring they maintain their independence and wellbeing.

Job Description
  • General housekeeping and making beds
  • Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors
  • Washing, folding and ironing laundry
  • Meal preparation and grocery shopping
  • Getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day
  • Assisting clients to take their medications
  • Assisting with mobility and therapy goals
  • Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia
  • Providing social and emotional support
  • Providing the client with transport to lifestyle activities or appointments
  • Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things
Requirements
  • A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
  • Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability
  • Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role, with experience in with personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications
Benefits
  • Guaranteed hours and shifts in Maroochydore QLD area
  • Award rate $33.82 per hour + Super + Paid KM's
