Job Description

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plastic extrusion lines. Re-programming machines and robots is crucial for optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visually inspect, test, diagnose, and troubleshoot faulty equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all plant equipment, ensuring seamless operation and high-quality output.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and schematic prints to perform required maintenance and service efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with production and senior leadership to solve problems effectively.
  • Maintain a safe workspace and adhere to company safety standards at all times.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • A driven team-player with a strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
  • Two years of technical school training in Industrial Maintenance, Machine Repair, Automated Systems, or similar skilled trades is highly desirable, along with relevant work experience.
  • Experience with PLCs, drives, and industrial controls is preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to a 3rd shift schedule and occasionally work one weekend per month.
  • First month of training will be conducted on 1st shift.
  • A career-oriented mindset aiming to advance personally and professionally.
  • A High school graduate with strong computer and math skills is essential.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods without fatigue.
  • Capability to maneuver and bend under or around equipment safely.
  • Capable of lifting and moving objects weighing up to 75 pounds, occasionally handling heavier weights.

Work Environment:

  • Exposure to varying elements such as odor, heat, cold, moisture, chemicals, or noise is common.
