Nanny/Housekeeper Role Summary

We are seeking a reliable and flexible Nanny/Housekeeper to care for our two children and manage the household.

Our ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience working with school-aged children and teenagers, be able to obtain a Working with Children Check, current Police Check, and First Aid Certificate. They should also be confident, self-starting, and able to help our family's lives run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with morning routines, including getting kids breakfast, helping them get ready for school, making lunches, and packing schoolbags.
  • Take children to school and pick up, as well as attend after-school activities and playdates.
  • Supervise homework and prepare healthy snacks and meals.

House Management Duties:

  • General tidying of the home (our cleaner will handle this).
  • Loading/unpacking dishwasher.
  • Grocery shopping.
  • Dropping off/picking up dry cleaning.
  • Familiy laundry (washing, drying, folding).
  • Healthy menu planning, children and family cooking.
  • Household & personal purchases.
  • Running errands.
  • Some pet care (feeding, vet appointments as required).
  • Liaising with Cleaners (fortnightly) and maintenance/tradespeople as needed.

Requirements:

  • Part-time hours: 35 per week.
  • Ability to commute/relocate to Kew, VIC.
  • Nanny experience: 3 years (preferred).
  • First Aid Certification (preferred).
  • Working with Children Check (preferred).
  • Driver Licence (preferred).
  • Work Authorisation: Australia (preferred).
