As a Health and Wellbeing Coordinator at the Australian Grand Prix Corporation, you will play a vital role in promoting a culture of safety and wellbeing within our organisation. This full-time, permanent position is based at our head office in St Kilda and reports directly to the Division Manager - Operations.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Develop and implement health and wellbeing initiatives to promote a positive work-life balance among employees.
  • Lead the design and delivery of safety training programs to ensure staff are equipped to manage risks and hazards effectively.
  • Work closely with our Division Manager - Operations to develop and implement effective safety protocols and procedures.
  • Prepare and present reports, submissions, briefings, and correspondence to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency in health and wellbeing practices across the organisation.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in health and wellbeing, with a strong understanding of safety principles and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex safety information.
  • Experience with safety management systems, preferably Lucidity SMS.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing unanticipated problems with ease.
  • A current Police Check and Victorian Working with Children Check (Employee), or willingness to obtain.
