**Job Title:** Chief Corporate Officer

**About the Position:** We are seeking an exceptional leader to head our corporate strategy division.

  • Provide high-level strategic advice regarding governance, change and risk management.
  • Lead a team of professionals across various functions including finance, information services, human resources and policy.
  • Drive initiatives to support agency growth and transformation.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting directly to the Ombudsman, provide strategic leadership on corporate strategy and operations.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and manage a multi-functional team.
  • Support the Ombudsman by preparing reports and submissions, ensuring alignment with government priorities.

**Requirements:**

  • Strategic leadership: Proven capacity to provide high-level strategic advice based on integrity and ethics.
  • Change management expertise: Experience in leading major change initiatives to support organisational growth.
  • Leadership skills: Demonstrated success leading teams across multiple functions.
  • High-level stakeholder engagement skills: Proven success in communicating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Sophisticated communication skills: Sound understanding of the public sector environment.
