Job Summary:
The Aspire Training Team is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to complete their Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team, overseeing the health and safety of the building, and ensuring the day-to-day care of the children and team is taken care of.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of early years professionals
- Oversee the health and safety of the building and ensure a safe environment for children and staff
- Ensure safeguarding is paramount and that all children are protected from harm
- Manage the day-to-day care of the children and team, including administrative tasks and paperwork
- Develop and implement effective strategies to promote the well-being and development of children
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements:
- Level 3 Childcare Qualification is essential
- Ability to gain a clear DBS
- GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent
- Excellent understanding of child development and a passion for early years education
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar role
- Ability to drive
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 08:00-18:00
- Minimum of 30 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed
