Electrical Inspector Job Summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to join our team in Alice Springs, AUS. As an Electrical Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring all electrical installations and works conform to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and JDFPG Policy and Procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the Electrical Safety Program
  • Inspect electrical installations, repairs, or modifications to ensure conformance to relevant codes and standards
  • Conduct field inspections and compile investigation reports
  • Support the integration, coordination, and communication of technical information and recommendations
  • Provide technical advice and guidance on electrical infrastructure, systems, and equipment

Requirements:

  • State Licensed Master Electrician
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical work, including domestic, commercial, and industrial settings
  • Leadership and management experience
  • Project management and planning skills
  • Configuration management and LOTO procedures

Security Clearance: It is a condition of employment that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role.

EHS Requirements: All Amentum personnel are responsible for understanding and complying with all site environmental, health, and safety requirements.
