About the Role

We are seeking a talented iOS Engineer to join our mobile app engineering team at abc. This exciting opportunity will have you working on a wide range of apps, focusing on quality software development practices such as clean code, automation build pipelines & testing, continuous integration, and agile software development.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop high-quality & engaging user-facing features and experiences for our iOS applications.
  • Contribute to the analysis, design, and development of complex, re-usable components for use across our mobile applications.
  • Champion a high level of awareness of best practice in the industry for software engineering, particularly in areas such as stability, performance, security, and accessibility.
  • Mentor and help grow your fellow teammates' career paths technically and non-technically.

About You

You should have a passion for new and emerging technologies and solid fundamentals in software engineering to explore possibilities in these areas in an impactful and sustainable way.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in developing scalable, complex, and high-performing iOS applications in Swift.
  • A strong focus on clean code and automated testing with CI/CD pipeline setup.
  • Strong capability in core iOS APIs, frameworks, and features.
  • Effective navigation & mitigation of production issues with prompt time to resolution.
  • Able to collaborate and communicate effectively in a creative, cross-functional team.
  • Familiarity with SwiftUI, MVVM architecture, UIKit, and recent iOS features is a plus.

Bonus Skills

  • Knowledge of declarative UIKit, Combine, Async/Await, local/remote Swift packages, and reactive programming.
  • Experience with tooling like Bitrise, Fastlane, Firebase, and Bitbucket is a bonus.
